The South East England Tourist Guides Association (SEETGA) is a membership association of professional Blue and Green Badge tourist guides based in South East England. Our Blue Badge members are regional guides who are qualified to guide throughout the counties of Kent, East and West Sussex and Surrey. Our Green Badge members are qualified to guide either in the City of Canterbury or the City of Chichester.
Our guides have a wide range of interests and expertise – the tours offered by our members are diverse and varied. These may include coach tours, walking tours, bespoke tours for small groups and families, visits to museums, cathedrals, gardens etc. Green Badge guides only undertake tours within their city of qualification. Some guides can offer specialised services such as tours in a foreign language, talks or private chauffered tours.
Our Association is affiliated to The British Guild of Tourist Guides. Most of our guides work independently and all have completed extensive training and examinations to gain the Blue and/or Green Badge qualifications which are regulated and awarded by the Institute of Tourist Guiding. These are widely recognised as a kite mark of excellence.
