I grew up in Kent and am very proud of my home county, known as the Garden of England.
I originally trained as a nurse in London, and lived and worked there for several years.
I spent 35 years working in the NHS and charity sector.
I have always been interested in history, literature and travelling, and combining these passions to share this beautiful part of the country is now my ideal job.
I am a Green Badge Guide for the City of Canterbury and a Blue Badge Guide for South East England (Kent. Sussex and Surrey). This is accredited by the Institute of Tourist Guiding, of which I am a member, and is the highest professional tourist guiding qualification in the UK.
I live in a village between Canterbury and Faversham, and am able to travel across the region and into London as required. I do many tours in Kent, but will cover Sussex and Surrey if needed. I enjoy guiding people around the medieval market town of Faversham which is a hidden gem, as well as local countryside and coast.
