A Tourist Guide with 20 years experience. I am a Garden Tour specialist in Southern England (from Dover to Penzance) and the North of England in the Lake District and along the Hadrians Wall to Northumberland. I spend much of my Summer touring in the UK and France. I have a keen interest in nature and wildlife and I enjoy country, cliff and village walks.

Within South East England there are many special gardens. The RHS show garden at Wisley, The Savill Garden – part of Windsor Crown Estate, Wakehurst Place known as “Kew Gardens in the Country”, Nymans Garden, Sissinghurst, Emmetts, Scotney Castle and Polesden Lacey (all managed by the National Trust), Great Dixter, Borde Hill, Arundel Castle and The World Garden at Lullingstone are just a few of the best known.

Popular local coach tours include Surrey Hill Highlights, South Downs Highlights from Brighton to Eastbourne along the South Downs, The Thames Estuary along the North Kent coast, and heritage tours to Chartwell and Hever Castle, Arundel and Portsmouth, Rye and Dungeness.

When touring we frequently stop for a stroll through historic town centres – in the SE I offer walks in Dover, Rye, Tenterden, Brighton, Tunbridge Wells, Rochester, East Grinstead, Godstone, Windsor, Sandwich and Faversham.

I am conveniently located for transfers from London Gatwick or London Heathrow Airports to cruise ships docked at Dover, Southampton, or Portland and will happily arrange visits en route to the port.
